The differences between PCs and Apple products are like, well, apples and oranges. That is a common English expression to say there are major differences. Both are still fruits (computers), but they look different (I won't go there), they taste different, yet they both nourish you in different ways.
Just as the iPad was making it debut just days ago, I had a rather extensive back and forth e-mail spar with a reader around Apple and PC. I hope it was amicable, at least that is the way I perceived it.
But before you do run out for your iPad, the HP Slate is due soon. The specs are:
- SDHC card slot
- USB port
- two cameras (one external 3-megapixel and one front-facing VGA for videoconferencing usage)
- Wifi
- Bluetooth
- BPS
- 1080p video playback
- a dock connector for power
- HDMI out to your TV
- SIM card slot for optional 3G connectivity
- Running Windows 7 Home Premium with custom HP touch-optimized user interface.
- 5 hours of battery life
I remember that old television commercial where someone is drinking the OTHER brand of drink, and then suddenly hits their forehead and says "I could have had a V-8!" Get the metaphor?
