We had taken the Gay and Lesbian Tour when it was offered during the European Union Pink month of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender diversity celebrations. Our guide was excellent. She not only provided the specific tour related highlights as we walked, but also included much of the generalized tour information.
What was most impressive is that she highlighted buildings or monuments that we had passed hundreds of times, but never knew there was a historical gay, lesbian, or bisexual story associated with it.
