It’s My Party and I’ll Cry If I Want To
Some of you may be too young to remember that song from the ‘60’s. It was a big hit at the time. I just paraphrase it to “It’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want to.” For those curious minds out there, I have not hit the big “50” yet and if you thought so, you will be eliminated from this list immediately after this e-mail self-destructs in the next thirty seconds.

We went to one of our favorite cafés for coffee and talked for over an hour non-stop, then walked the area and talked some more. We invited them back to our apartment for more coffee and we sat around and continued our conversation for another two hours. I think we have a potential friendship with the two of them and it was a great start. They had no idea it was my birthday, but for me it was a really nice little celebration.
Tomorrow, we leave on our trip.
