Thanks for writing. I have been doing a lot of asking around and reading quite a bit on different diabetes websites. What one of my friends who is Hungarian/American, told me is that Hungarian doctors tend to err of the side of caution. My previous doctor was just as concerned about my first glucose test, but then I wasn't over the border into needing to do anything about it.
I have a former student who has been diagnosed with diabetes over a year ago, so I consult with he and my office mate, another professor who is also diabetic. They have provided me with my own small support group.
I like this food tree. It reminds me of a Christmas tree.
